The Partner Club Relationship
The nature of the relationship with the Clubs we support is a partnership. Our team works closely with a nominated project manager from the Partner Club. The three servcies Access Sport offers are funding, PR and advice. Financial support is in the form of grants that are used to develop quality sporting programmes which promote fitness and fun. These grants may cover: - Club promotion
- Participant recruitment & subsidies
- Coach development & education
- Sports equipment
Publicity & profile raising is achieved via the delivery of a Festival Day, that typically includes: - Press releases to the local media and promotion to local schools
- Attendance on the day by one of our Ambassadors
- Coaching sessions or presentations on, for example, nutrition
- Matches and prize-giving
Commercial advice covers a range of services which will vary according to specific needs: - A "health-check" assessment (e.g. reviewing finances and operations)
- Advising on Sportsmatch applications to match sponsor funding
- Seeking commercial sponsorship opportunities
- Ensuring the objectives of Access Sport sponsor partners are addressed
- Supporting the Club's other fundraising initiatives
- Self-promotion through press, radio and other media
- Other consulting projects or internships (subject to availability)
Often Access Sport will work in partnership with sponsor companies, their respective agencies and other organisations or individuals, effectively acting as a ‘clearing house’ to deliver these services.
